I am a Knoxvillian, a forester and painter.
I create imaginative depictions of recognizable land features in East Tennessee. My studies in forestry and recreation informed my view of natural areas, their importance and fragility, structure and design.
I focus on surreal landscapes with elements of pop to illuminate local landforms and explore the interactions between society and natural lands.
